Viewing Inbound API Log Data

You can view inbound API processing logs and error messages by using the Event Log Listing page. To navigate to the Event Log Listing page, select Web Administration>Audit>Event Log. Following is an example of the Event Log Listing page.

You can filter on a specific API by selecting it in the Source drop-down list. APIs are listed in ALL CAPS. To filter on Critical, Error, or Warning event logs, select the respective checkboxes. For the following example, we have selected the INVENTORY API filter.

You can search for a specific text string by entering it in the Message Text String field. In the example below, we have entered "results" in the Message Text String field to narrow the list of events to a summary of the events as well as a specific date range.
